Suggested directions for reaching Villa Branca:

From the A1 toll way, exit at Firenze-Certosa and take the Cassia road n.2 towards Greve in Chianti. After 3 km turn right following signs for Mercatale V.P.-San Casciano V.P. After 2 km turn right following the signs for Villa Branca.

Also:
From the A1 toll way, exit at Firenze-Certosa. Take the Raccordo Firenze-Siena (a connecter highway) and exit at the first town, San Casciano V.P. Follow the road up the hill and into town, where you will see a left turn for Mercatale V.P. Take this left and go 5 km to Mercatale. Follow signs into the center of town and then keep going straight through and back into the countryside. When you arrive at the intersection with signs to Greve, turn left, and then immediately left again at the sign for Villa Branca. An unpaved road 2km long leads you in to the estate. Keep to the right for the reception.
